Anthony Alexander

Born in Grenada on 29th August, 1943 to Morris and Catherine Nadica Isaac. DJ Electric Man passed away on 16th February, 2024 at Port of Spain General Hospital. 

​

Though Anthony was an only child, he fathered the beautiful: Kenny, Junior (Anthony), Ricardo (Ricky), Lawrence (Alister), Stacy and Vera (adopted), who grew to give him grandchildren: Marrisa, Anthony, Izri, Leah, Jade, Malachi, Shayne and Sydni. He was the common law husband of Marva Edwards-Payne; father-in-law of Nicolette, Melanie (deceased), Stephen, Andrea and Joanne; relative of The Sayers and Julien families. He was also the friend of Susan, Sandra, Shirley and Kenny St. Louis.

Anthony was a man of music hence he got the nickname DJ Electric Man, he would always be singing, listening to, or just playing music every chance he got. Although Anthony is no longer with us he leaves behind a legacy for all those who knew him to remember. 

​

The funeral for Anthony is scheduled for Thursday 29th February, 2024; 9:00am at Church of the Nativity, Crystal Stream, Diego Martin, thence to St. James Crematorium, Long Circular Road, St. James, Trinidad for an 11:00am cremation.

Jo-Anne James-Wellington, a beloved and dedicated teacher, departed this world on the 23rd of December, 2023. Joanne's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to education, and her legacy will forever endure in the hearts and minds of those she touched. Her funeral was held on the 4th of January, 2024, with the arrangements entrusted to Dennies Funeral Home and conducted with grace and compassion by funeral directors Celine Reyes and Dominic Badhall.

Born on the 18th of February, 1971, Joanne's passion for teaching was evident from a young age. She pursued her calling with fervor and purpose, eventually becoming an esteemed member of the faculty at St. Joseph Convent in Port of Spain. For many years, she devoted herself to nurturing the minds and spirits of countless students, leaving an indelible mark on the school and the wider community. Her dedication to her profession was matched only by her kindness and empathy, as she tirelessly worked to inspire and guide the next generation.

Joanne's impact extended far beyond the classroom. She was known for her warmth, wisdom, and genuine concern for others. Her ability to connect with people on a profound level earned her the admiration and respect of colleagues, students, and parents alike. Her legacy of compassion and understanding will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her home was a place of love, laughter, and unwavering support, and her absence will be deeply felt by those who held her dear.

Joanne James Wellington's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will serve as a beacon of light for all who were touched by her kindness and wisdom. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of experiences, lessons, and moments of joy that will endure for generations to come.
